General Questions

  • Can you store all these printed items, Letterheads, brochures, envelopes for me?

    Yes we can warehouse and manage your printed stocks.

  • Is my job too small – what is the minimum?

    No job is too small – we run jobs from 100 to 100,000.

  • I am a registered charity, can I get cheaper postage rates?

    Yes – registered charities qualify for further discounted postage rates. The charity registers with Australia Post and receives a Charity Mail (CM) number to be printed on the mail.

  • How do I know the mail has been delivered?

    Regular mail does not include a delivery confirmation, this service is available with the Express Post service but has a much higher cost. We can however, confirm that it has been sent when it is collected each day from our factory in Belmont.

  • I want to use my own Australia Post account to pay for the postage.

    The postage can be lodged and charged directly to your Australia Post account – you will receive a bill from Australia Post for the postage part only.

  • How big can a letter be?

    The Maximum size for a Letter is 260mmx360mm and 500grams. Any bigger than this and Australia Post consider it a Parcel and the pricing gets more expensive.

  • What about the security of my data files, can they be used by anyone else?

    The data is stored and handled in a secure IT environment. No-one else can access your data except Mailing Solutions programming staff. It is securely archived and can be fully destroyed at your request when the job is completed.

  • What do I have to print on my envelope – other than the receivers address?

    Aust Post guidelines state it must have a Return Address and the Postage Paid box – at the minimum.

  • Am I eligible for Print Post mail?

    If you send more than 100 copies at least 2 times per year you are eligible.

  • How much can I fit in a Small Letter?

    If using a DLX (120×235) Envelope we can machine insert a folded A4 12pp item.

  • What is the cheapest postage?

    Small Letters are the cheapest – sent via Surface Mail makes them even cheaper – Registered Charities get a special price

  • What data files do you accept?

    We can accept data in xcel, csv, text, Access, DAT and many other kinds
